Billing Management: Don't Leave Money on the Warehouse Floor

For customer billing as well as 3PL operations, you need to meet contract requirements and invoice your customers accurately, based on the actual work performed, without labour-intensive tracking. Billing Management provides a flexible activity-based solution, using time-based rules, to streamline cost tracking and analyse cost data.

Billing Management is a stand-alone solution, receiving input from standard data feeds via Manhattan Associates' Warehouse Management and Transportation Lifecycle Management solutions, as well as third-party warehouse systems. Activities including receiving, putaway, replenishment, pick/pack, weighing, storage, loading, cycle and physical counting are recorded in real time, and billed to clients using rules and charges that are configured for the client. So no matter where an order is filled, billing is centralized, customised to the client, and accurate.

Billing Management's key technical features include:

  • Client, activity and rule configuration
  • Transactional and storage billing engines; can be automated or manually initiated
  • Audit capabilities: Pre-invoice review, adjust charges and grant discounts
  • Invoice generation and printing

Cost Analysis: Learn the True Costs of Doing Business

Billing Management is a dynamic cost-analysis tool, capturing activities and their costs, and then determining which processes, products, customers and suppliers contribute the most to the bottom line. Cost analysis enables your company to evaluate and compare the actual costs—and opportunity costs—of service by client, partner or line of business.
