Manhattan Associates Appoints Shelton Chan as General Manager for Greater China

SHANGHAI - December 22, 2011 - Global supply chain optimisation provider Manhattan Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ: MANH) today announced the appointment of Shelton Chan as General Manager for Greater China. Chan will be responsible for strengthening relationships with customers and leading the team to drive business development and sales initiatives in the region. He will report to Arnold Consengco, managing director of North Asia.

Chan brings to Manhattan Associates 16 years of international operations, management and consulting experience in the Greater China region, specialising in global logistics, distribution and supply chain development.

He joins Manhattan from Resources Global Professionals, where he was head of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) practice, overseeing the development of end to end supply chain solutions for clients in the chemical/petroleum, FMCG, retail industries and 3PLs. Prior to Resources Global Professionals, Chan was project manager of the operation and finance department at L'Oreal, where he was responsible for planning and implementing a new automated logistics facility in Taiwan to cover more than 3,000 distribution channels. Chan also held management roles at DHL Exel Supply Chain and FreightMatrix China powered by i2 Technology.

Chan is also an active member of several industry bodies representing the supply chain and logistics sector. He currently serves as the vice president of Asia Pacific for the Society of International Logistics (SOLE), as Greater China’s chapter Director on the Supply Chain Council (SCOR Model), and as Vice Chair of the American Chamber of Commerce’s Transport and Logistics Committee in Shanghai. In addition, Chan has lectured at the School of Management at Fudan University and National Chiao Tung University.

Chan holds a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo and a Master of Science degree in International logistics from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
